Came here for mom's Bf's bday everything was fresh ranging to the toro to their sashimi plate. Honestly probably one of the better Korean sushi restaurants. Their little fried food after was pretty good too no complaints try it out for yourself. Service was fast n great.
From start to finish, service was perfect. This was our first time eating Korean style Sashimi and it was amazing. As they say "fresher is better" we ordered the live sashimi platter, everything tasted sooooo fresh, the quality of the fish was exceptional. A must try is the fresh shrimp Sashimi and Fresh flounder!!! Delicious, perfectly paired with their dipping sauces. We also ordered the Toro!!! Now this is the Wagyu of Sashimi, this melted like butter in our mouths. Ive had Toro at other sashimi spots, High end Sashimi spots and the quality could not be matched! moon Beach has the best/ freshest quality sashimi around!
Came here on a weds where they have 1+1 on drinks plus free soju if you give them a 5 star review. We got combo c which was very fresh and delicious. We didn't make it to the appetizers we took them home for tomorrow. All in all everything was really fresh and the hosts are very friends and kind. Will come back with more people
I took my parents for dinner here this past week. My mom wanted to have live octopus and this was one of the few restaurants in Orange County that had it. The setting is nothing super-fancy, but still nice and clean. "Typical" sushi restaurant set up with a sushi bar taking up one side of the restaurant with the bar seating and the sushi chefs working behind it. The service was very good. We ordered: Live Octopus - One of my Mom's favorite foods. For those that have never had it, it's chopped up live octopus that still squirms after it's been chopped up. My Mom said it was very good. Sashimi Combo - We had the smallest combo (meant for 2-3). It comes with a lot of "extra" foods on the side (steamed egg, handrolls, salad, stews, etc.). The fish was very fresh and tasty. Sushi Nigiri Combo - 15 piece. Same as above, the fish was fresh and tasty. My one comment for improvement might be having a bit more variety. This restaurant does a great job of presenting their food in a pretty, very appetizing matter. We will definitely be back.
Everything we had here was super fresh, light, and delicious! My 2 girlfriends and I came in really hungry . We started out ordering set #3 with oysters and fresh eel. Our server actually suggested that we order set #2 which is a little smaller order and cheaper since we already had the oysters and grilled eel and thank goodness he suggested that because true to his words had we stuck with set 3 it would have been too much food! Thanks for the suggestion and honesty! Pros: All the seafood was fresh and delicious! Grilled eel was highlight of the night cause it was grilled to perfection and had a delicious, flaky, yet still bouncy chewy texture! You just have to try it to appreciate it! Service was attentive and good. Appreciated all the "compliments of the chef" extra dishes we got to try! Cons: Tempura wasn't their best, but I honestly wasn't there for their tempura but it came with our meal Set.
Food was great! However, the staff needed to be more attentive. Overall good experiences! But for this price, i would love to see better decorations & ambiance.

This is one of the two major Korean restaurants in the OC area. Overall, the raw fish/seafood is in good, high and clean condition.The portion of the seafood platter was small so I was hungry but the quality of the food was good.Some sashimi restaurants serve a lot of junk and the sashimi is as thin as a sheet of paper. Sushi is the best of best !! I praise the staff for being so friendly and fast. The food was all delicious and looked very good. I plan to visit again.
